Sales & Refund Policy
This document complements the Legal & Privacy Notice (in particular sections 7 Limitation of Liability and 8 Acceptable Use). It applies to all purchases of the Faderr13Box and Faderr13OS Download made on faderr13.com or via Eighty6 SRL invoice.
All sales final
The Faderr13Box is sold business-to-business (B2B), built to order from a fresh factory image, and bound to your specific hardware via a unique serial-bound activation key generated during our QA step. Because each unit is provisioned individually for one customer, all sales are final: we do not offer a buyer's-remorse return window, exchange, or partial refund after payment.
Belgian and EU law do not require a cooling-off period for B2B transactions: Article VI.47 of the Code de droit économique applies to consumer purchases only.
12-month warranty against manufacturing defects
Independent of the above, Eighty6 SRL warrants every Faderr13Box for 12 months from the date of shipment against manufacturing defects — hardware failure under normal use, factory-flashed firmware that fails to boot, factory-supplied accessories that arrive damaged. Within this period, defective units are repaired or replaced at our discretion, at no cost to you (return shipping included via prepaid Bpost label).
The warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage from drops, liquid ingress, or improper power supply
- Modifications to the firmware, operating system, or hardware
- Cosmetic wear from normal use
- Wi-Fi coverage, range or reliability on the box's own built-in access point — which is intended for setup and quick access to the box, not as the performance network. For musicians' monitoring, connect the box to the venue Wi-Fi or a dedicated access point (see faderr13.com)
- Failures caused by changes to the DiGiCo console firmware or External Control configuration outside Eighty6's control
Dead on arrival (DOA)
If your Faderr13Box does not power on or fails the first-boot wizard upon delivery, contact support@faderr13.com within 7 days of receipt with a short photo or video. We will arrange replacement at no cost (including return shipping of the defective unit) — this is handled under the manufacturing-defect warranty, not as a refund.
Order cancellation before shipment
You may cancel an order any time before the Faderr13Box ships by writing to support@faderr13.com. We will refund the full amount (product + shipping + VAT) minus Stripe transaction fees, which are non-refundable from the payment processor (1.5 % + €0.25 for EU cards, 3.25 % for non-EU). Once a tracking number has been emitted, the order is considered shipped and this clause ceases to apply.
Pricing, VAT and shipping
Prices on faderr13.com are displayed HTVA (VAT excluded) per B2B convention. The final amount you pay at checkout includes VAT computed dynamically based on your billing country and VAT identifier (if provided) according to EU VAT rules.
- Belgium buyers — 21 % VAT applied
- EU business buyers with valid VAT ID — 0 % VAT under reverse-charge mechanism (Article 196 of VAT Directive 2006/112/EC). The invoice issued by Eighty6 SRL will mention "VAT reverse-charged" accordingly.
- EU consumers / EU buyers without VAT ID — VAT applied at the rate of either Belgium or the buyer's country depending on the EU OSS distance-sales threshold (€10,000 EU-wide turnover). Stripe Tax handles the calculation automatically.
- Buyers outside the EU (United Kingdom, Switzerland, USA, etc.) — 0 % VAT at checkout. Buyers are responsible for any import duties, VAT, and customs fees imposed by their own country upon delivery (DDU — Delivered Duty Unpaid).
Shipping is charged as a flat rate by zone: Belgium €15 · EU €25 · United Kingdom and Switzerland €45 · rest of world €65. Shipped from Belgium via Bpost with tracking.
Faderr13OS Download — digital content
All sales of Faderr13OS Download are final. The product is digital content delivered immediately: once the delivery email (download link) has been sent, no refund is possible — this is the standard regime for digital goods, and you expressly waive the 14-day withdrawal right at checkout (EU Directive 2011/83, art. 16(m)). What we do stand behind: if a firmware issue prevents activation or setup on hardware that strictly matches our published compatibility list, we'll work with you to fix it for 30 days after delivery — and if WE can't make our own firmware run on listed hardware, we'll refund you. Hardware sourcing, hardware defects and non-listed hardware are outside the scope of this policy.
The 30-day "fix or refund" commitment applies only where Faderr13OS fails to run on hardware matching the published compatibility list due to a defect in the software as delivered. It does not apply to any loss of function caused by changes to a DiGiCo console's firmware or to the "External Control / Generic OSC" interface or its access policy, or to any other third-party component, where such change occurs at or after the time of supply and lies outside Eighty6 SRL's control (see the Legal & Privacy Notice, sections 12 and 13). The foregoing does not exclude or limit any mandatory remedy available to a buyer who qualifies as a consumer under the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and digital services (Directive (EU) 2019/770).

Governing law
This policy is governed by Belgian law. Any dispute arising from a purchase is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of the seller's registered office (Tribunal de l'entreprise du Hainaut, division Charleroi), without prejudice to consumer protection rules where the buyer qualifies as a consumer under Belgian or EU law.
